Our base is the ideal place to rest before and after trips. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of our welcoming coffee lounge – we play an awesome selction of Kiwi music, display amazing wood carvings created by a local artist, offer free tea and coffee with all trips and sell great espresso coffee.

Our base and information centre comprises:

Other Adventures/Activities in the Northern West Coast region include:
» 4×4 Unimog tours, scenic caving, adventure caving, land yachting, surf rafting, mountain biking, whitewater kayaking, the Westport Coaltown Museum, gold mine and coal mine tours.
» Scenic Walks – Cape Foulwind Seal Colony walkway, the famous Heaphy Track, Karamea, the Trumann Track at Punakaiki (Pancake Rocks).
» Scenic Drives – the Buller Gorge, Westport to Karamea, Westport to Punakaiki

Buller Adventure Tours has a 23 year history of running adventure tours on the West Coast. Our operation is in compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health regulations, and the Maritime New Zealand Rules and Regulations for Commercial Rafting and Jetboating. All our staff hold a current First Aid Certificate and all our Raft Guides and Jetboat Drivers are registered with Maritime New Zealand  in conjunction with the NZ Commercial Rafting and Jetboat Associations.
